Spine ends lightly bumped, top corners bumped. Textblock edges faintly soiled and foxed, endpapers foxed, pages pale yellow but clean, no binding problems. Unclipped dust wrapper rubbed and edgeworn with a few closed tears and chips. White portions of dw (flaps and spine) faintly yellowed. ; This psychological crime novel by the author of the Poldark novels is set in 1950's England. Marnie is a beautiful and enigmatic con artist that assumes multiple identities. The basis for the film by Alfred Hitchcock starring Sean Connery and Tippi Hedren.
