This reading copy of a somewhat scarce title is definitely in fragile condition. Book is soiled, covers creased and edgeworn, corner of back cover missing, covers repaired with tape by a previous owner and reglued to textblock, pages yellowed, edges soiled; interior pages clean, none loose.; Two women settle in nice houses, one in London and one in the Border country of Scotland. The woman in Scotland meets the former owner of her house...can we expect a happy ending? :o) Readers of "Penny Plain", "Pink Sugar" and "Priorsford" will be happy to return to the village of Priorsford and encounter some of their inhabitants again.
