Unclipped dust wrapper lightly edgeworn with a few small chips and creases and two short closed tears on rear panel, spine lightly sunned.; Profusely illustrated with colour and monochrome illustrations, including several by Helen Allingham. This is a lovely abridgement of the Candleford trilogy, a fictionalized memoir of rural life in Oxfordshire in the late 1800's.
