Green cloth boards, spine head lightly bumped, bottom corners faintly worn (not to boards). Unclipped dust wrapper faintly creased and edgeworn. Dust wrapper image is a tinted photograph of Thirkell as a young child with her grandfather, Edward Burne-Jones. A very nice copy indeed. ; Thirkell's very first book. Considered by the author to be her best book, these are her early childhood memories of growing up in London and Rottingdean at the Grange in Fulham, 27 Young Street in Kensington Square, and North End House in Rottingdean. It was the basis for a BBC Radio 4 serialisation.
; AT's books recommended by Claire author of 'The Captive Reader'
blog, the "Desperate Reader" blogger, Jodie R. the author of the 'Geranium Cat's Bookshelf' and obviously by members of the ATS and AT email discussion groups. :o) Image is actual copy on offer.
